Despite distance learning, the French Club will still be holding its annual Toy Drive to provide children in need with gifts to spread holiday cheer.
For 17 years, Mira Loma’s French Club has collected unopened and new gifts every holiday season. All of the proceeds go to benefit the Salvation Army, an organization that provides holiday gifts to children in our community, who otherwise would receive a gift this holiday season.
In these trying times, donations are needed now more than ever, and all gifts will be greatly appreciated and go to positively influence the community. The French Club is accepting all toys and donations, just as long as they are unopened and new.
Despite distance learning, the French Club is accepting toys at Mira Loma’s front lobby during school hours. For those who cannot access the campus, the French Club is accepting gifts delivered through mail. This provides an added benefit: gifts can be bought online as well, and simply mailed in. All they require is that the gift is mailed to “Mira Loma c/o French Club.” Teacher Alain Negretot, who runs the toy drive, encourages students to contact him further for inquiries on donation.
